The Management Team
The actions of the management team are governed via a set of rules and a recently revised constitution.
Team members who are Trustees of the Piddington Village Hall Charity (no. 1072261) have their details registered with the Charity Commission.
Each team member has the authority to spend up to £250 without consulting colleagues. Competitive quotes for expenditure above £250 are discussed at the monthly team meetings.
Each team meeting is chaired by the Chairman. However there is no hierarchy and everyone’s voice is equal. Events are organised by all of us. We are, in effect, a self-managed team.
Meetings are usually held at the hall at 7.30pm on the second Tuesday of each month. Villagers are welcome to attend, particularly if they are users of the Hall.
Our governing rules allow for a maximum of 9, so there are currently vacancies. We would love to fill these vacancies, particularly with younger people, who could bring a fresh perspective to the team. If you are interested, and can spare the time, please come along to a meeting, or speak to one of the team members.
