What matters most to you in the village?
What facilities are we missing? What can we do about this?
What do we love about where we live? Does it need protecting?
How do we make the most of our community?
A Community-Led Plan sets out a VISION of how our community wants to develop and identifies the ACTION needed for us to achieve it.
At the district and county level, a completed plan will:
- influence (and inform) policy makers about services
- provide evidence of our community's aspirations to aid grant funding applications
- provide evidence of our community’s views for planning application consideration.
You can find out more about Community-Led Plans in ORCC's helpful Community-Led Planning Guide.
To be truly representative of the village, a Community-Led Plan should involve as many villagers as possible. Please read about the plan and see how you can get involved. We'll be adding to this section of the website regularly, so please keep checking back to see what's new.
