Piddington Book Group
The Piddington Book Group was launched at the beginning of 2024 with the idea of getting together to talk about a book suggested by a member of the group.
Any genre or type of book may be put forward for discussion, but the meetings work best if you’ve read the book before suggesting it, so that you can say why you chose it as a good – or at least an interesting – read.
We meet roughly every six weeks at the village hall on Monday evening at 7.30pm. We contribute £2 each time to pay for the hall – any money over can go towards the whole payment if there are fewer than nine of us at a meeting. If you’d like to bring your own drinks and nibbles, that’s fine.
We welcome new members, and look forward to some sociable book chat over the next few months.
